Holiday Donations

You can make the holidays brighter for families who have been affected by violence. We welcome cash donations (mail in a gift or donate online) and gift cards so that our families can make Thanksgiving and the winter holidays special and memorable.

Gift cards to stores such as Target, Safeway, and Lucky give STAND! clients in our shelter and transitional housing programs the means and confidence to give their families a happy holiday season. See suggested stores and amounts listed below.

Did you know that many of our clients have never been allowed to:

  • Plan their own holiday celebration?
  • Choose gifts for their children?
  • Decide what to serve at their holiday meal?

The more the merrier! Tell your friends about STAND!’s holiday gift program and host a gift card drive at your work, holiday party, school, or organization.

For questions about holiday giving, contact Herbert Lee at herbertl@standffov.org  or 925.603.0149.
