On November 26, STAND!’s CEO Rhonda James announced her intention to retire from STAND! in June 2026, “Working at STAND! and especially working alongside staff and volunteers, the heart and soul of the agency, has been a joy. Thank you for these challenging and fulfilling years. One of my core personal values is service…and STAND!’s service to this community is vital and unwavering – because of you, our staff and volunteers. It matters that we all show up for survivors in all our many roles and I am so proud of how we continue to do that together.”
STAND!’s Board Chair, Mindy O’Toole thanked Rhonda on behalf of the Board, for her “incredible leadership and unwavering commitment to our organization. Over her tenure, Rhonda has guided this organization through growth, challenge, and meaningful transformation always putting our mission and people first.
