Dear Friends of STAND!,
Your ongoing generosity and partnership serve as an inspiration to us as we navigate the challenges of this unprecedented time. We are so very grateful!
We have thoughtfully restructured services and strategically applied fiscal resources to ensure that our mission continues. Thanks to your support, the Crisis Line still operates 24/7 with an increase in severity of calls. Client programs and services continue through virtual and telehealth technologies. We continue to serve victims who seek shelter, and all shelter clients have been relocated to ensure a healthy shelter-in-place. We’ve done the very best we can in this very challenging time. And yet, every day we become more aware of the impacts the pandemic has and will continue to have, on those we serve. We see very clearly that this is the beginning of even greater programmatic and economic challenges to come.
It is in this awareness of unknown challenges ahead that I ask you to stay with us. I ask you to continue your financial and volunteer support, as STAND! continues to adapt services and resources to best serve our clients. We will look a bit different in the future as we adjust our activities to meet new health guidelines and regulations, and to safely engage with both our clients and our supporters. As an example, our annual Rebuilding Lives event will change this year as we know that a large group event is not a realistic option at this time. I will continue to update you on changes to our programs, services, and events, so that you remain an intricate and connected partner in our mission.
We are in this together, and together we are a powerful force for change.
In Partnership,
Rhonda James, Chief Executive Officer
