Volunteer

  • Volunteers are vital to STAND! They offer varied perspectives and fresh approaches to issues, increase the quality of our services, make it possible to expand our wide range of programs and improve our community relations. In addition to making a meaningful contribution to one’s community, our volunteer positions provide opportunities to learn and develop skills, build experience, and expand your skill set in the areas of leadership, community organizing, peer counseling, public speaking, community outreach and more.

Speakers Bureau

  • It’s important that our community understands the impacts of family violence and the importance of ending the multi-generational cycle. Through presentations and trainings with community groups, corporations, local businesses, government agencies and individuals, STAND! educates our community about the causes, effects and signs of domestic violence and child abuse. In addition, STAND! offers the state-mandated 40-hour Domestic Violence Training for individuals interested in working with victims and children. Request a speaker
